    Day Pass

Given the increasing level of world-class pediatric subspecialty services provided at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital treating children for cancer, brain trauma, transplants, and life threatening diseases, more and more critically ill children are rushed here every day. The Day Pass Program was created in an effort to offer House amenities to even more families of critically ill children by providing services during designated hours to families not currently staying at the House at absolutely no cost to families.. A staff member will provide a brief tour of the facilities and answer any questions. All Day Pass participants must register upon their arrival at the House. As some of our House residents have compromised immunity, all visitors must be in good health and free of symptoms such as sore throat, fever, cough, runny nose, etc.

    Day Pass Includes:

Volunteer groups prepare and serve warm and nutritious meals at no cost to our families in the dining area for House and Day Pass families to enjoy.

Our House laundry room is fully equipped with washers, dryers, detergent, and ironing stations.

Hot showers with towels, toiletries, and hair dryers are accessible for your convenience.

The family TV room is available with couches, 55-inch LED TV, cable access, DVD player, and a vast library of movies for borrowing.

Wi-Fi access is available throughout the common areas. Inquire with a staff member for the password.
