About Our New Website
This site, which officially launched on March 11, 2015, was generously designed and developed by Matthew and Arlene Santos, Owners of AG Design Group, Inc., an award winning, full-service creative marketing and project management consultancy.
Matt and Arlene’s involvement with the Ronald McDonald House of San Francisco started with a Family Meal they volunteered for in 2003 as college students at USF. They continued to support the House over the years by naming the House in their United Way campaign and company matching gift program, and in recent years as Gold and Platinum Gala Sponsors.
In 2014 they offered to further support the House by offering an in-kind donation of a full, end-to-end, website redesign and development of the Ronald McDonald House of San Francisco’s website, featuring:
– A new, up-to-date look and better user information flow
– Easy-to-use content management system
– Social media and rich media features and integration
– A mobile-optimized website that is accessible from various mobile devices
“The website has been a labor of love. Our job was to re-design the front-end with adherence to the Ronald McDonald House brand guidelines, re-architect the functionality, and translate this over to mobile. We re-engineered the flow, layout, and experience of the site, in order to bring the website to life. Our hope is that the new website will bring more traffic and attention to the House’s cause, increase donor response, and act as a launching pad for charity events and a showcase for all the great work and services the House and its staff provides.”
“We couldn’t think of a more deserving organization than the Ronald McDonald House of San Francisco. It was a true pleasure working with them to create something special. People are increasingly viewing the internet on their phones and tablets; so it is important that users be able view and utilize the site effective, regardless of the device they use. With responsive design technology, the website is automatically sized and scaled to each mobile device and tablet. By furthering the online presence across all mobile platforms, our hope is to increase viewership, conversation, and donations. We hope the new site gives a little boost to the many great things to come.”
