2014 Patrick Marleau Golf Classic
Annual Patrick Marleau Golf Tournament raises nearly $250,000 for new House at Mission Bay and Scott Street renovations
August 2014 – Ronald McDonald House of San Francisco’s annual Patrick Marleau Golf Classic took place on August 25th and was a great success! With Patrick’s and our sponsors’ help, we were able to raise nearly $250,000 toward our Hearts & Hands Campaign. Approximately 130 golfers teed off Monday morning and completed their round by the late afternoon. Immediately following the tournament, Dave Clark, anchorman for KTVU Channel 2 Morning News, hosted a reception which included silent and live auctions.
The House relies on this annual fundraiser for nearly 15% of our revenue. The funds raised will go toward renovating our flagship Scott Street House, and opening the new House inside UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital at Mission Bay. With the added capacity, RMH-SF will be able to nearly triple the number of families we currently serve.
